My Message to the Voters

I started my career with the Madera County Sheriff’s Office in 2001, working my way through the ranks, before being appointed the Sheriff-Coroner in 2020.  I have been in supervisory roles within the Sheriff’s Office for the past 15 years; with the last 9 in upper management. 

I am endorsed by the Madera County Deputy Sheriff’s Association, the Madera Police Officers Association, the Chowchilla Police Officers Association, 42 of California’s current Sheriff’s, every living retired Madera County Sheriff, seven police chiefs, the Madera County District Attorney, the entire Madera County Board of Supervisors, and many others.

I am dedicated to the overall safety and success of Madera County.  I stepped forward, because at a time when our forests were burning, there were protests all over the country, and a demand for increased accountability of law enforcement, I was the leader Madera County needed.

 I commit to you that as your sheriff, I will continue to serve this great community by focusing on public safety, by being efficient and innovative, and by always protecting your constitutional rights.  My experience, knowledge, and qualifications make me the best candidate for Madera County Sheriff – Coroner.  I would be honored to have your vote to continue serving this great county as your Madera County Sheriff-Coroner.
