Qualifications

I have more than 1,500 hours of incident command, supervision and POST training, more than 500 hours of narcotics related training, and more than 1,000 hours of technology or forensics related training.  I received an undergraduate degree in 2010 with a major in Computer Information Systems. I am also certified on a national, state, and local level as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

I believe in running a technologically advanced office and am proud of our advancements to increase the safety of the public and our deputies while improving our abilities to solve crime and be more efficient.  I am currently the California State Sheriff’s Association Information Technology Committee Vice-chairperson.  We work to develop advanced solutions that can be leveraged by agencies of all sizes, providing opportunities to smaller agencies that they might not otherwise have access to. I have developed and implemented many software and hardware solutions at the Madera Sheriff’s Office that are still in use today.
